Dr. Matthew Barnhart is a Pennsylvania native. He was drawn to chiropractic through his family chiropractor. “When I was doing my undergraduate work I had the opportunity to work as a chiropractic assistant at our family chiropractor’s office and it changed the whole course of my life. I was seeing daily how chiropractic care was helping people get out of extreme pain, and it was at that moment I knew that was what I wanted to do.”
Dr. Matthew Barnhart graduated from Logan University in 2013, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Since graduating, he has been practicing chiropractic care in Central Kentucky, and treats a variety of cases ranging from pediatric and pregnancy to chronic pain management.
In addition to his degrees, Barnhart has progressive training in the Graston/IASTM/Myofascial Release, extensive post-graduate training in Pediatric and Perinatal care, Webster Certification, MRI Spinal Interpretation, Spinal Trauma Pathology, and is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Dr. Matthew Barnhart moved to Kentucky 8 years ago with his wife, Dr. Tara S. Barnhart. When he’s not working, you can find him raising his two sons alongside his wife, golfing, enjoying his family while on the lake, and spending time in church. “I enjoy treating patients of all ages, and helping them live happy and healthy lives. I think it is important to educate my patient on the benefits that chiropractic care can have on their entire family.”
