Amie has a broad perspective to healthcare due to a happily meandering career path. She began her healthcare career in 1997, by earning an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from Shawnee State University in Portsmouth, Ohio. She worked for 19 years in outpatient, inpatient, home health and school settings to assist patients of all ages in performing activities of daily living.
She returned to college to pursue a nursing degree to better provide for her patients in all aspects of their lives. Amie received her Associate degree in Nursing from Ashland Community and Technical College, Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Masters Degree in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner program from Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY.
As a board certified nurse practitioner, she performs initial intake assessments, interventional injection therapies, and collaborates with all team members for patient management. She has advanced training using ultrasound guided injections to help manage extremity, joint and spinal pain caused by both acute and chronic conditions.
